Where Nature Meets Tranquility in the Heart of Canada
Started with a dream and 40 acres of untouched wilderness. My grandfather always said this land had something special - turns out he wasn't wrong. We bought the property after spending a single night camping here, which sounds crazy now but felt right at the time.
We didn't want cookie-cutter lodges. Each cabin was hand-crafted using local timber and designed to work with the landscape, not against it. Took us three years longer than planned, but you can't rush good work.
Got serious about sustainability before it was trendy. Solar panels, water reclamation systems, the whole nine yards. Some folks thought we were nuts spending that much on "green stuff," but it's just the right thing to do.
Partnered with local farms and opened our dining hall. Chef Maria joined us that year - she's still here making magic in the kitchen. Everything's seasonal because that's when it tastes best, simple as that.
Added the spa after guests kept asking for massage services. Started small with two treatment rooms, now we've got six and a full wellness program. Still using local herbs and natural products though.
We're still family-run, still focused on doing things the right way. Our team's like family now - some have been here since day one. We've hosted thousands of guests but never lost sight of why we started: sharing this incredible piece of wilderness with folks who appreciate it.
We're not trying to conquer nature here - we're working alongside it. Every decision we make considers the impact on this land and the wildlife that calls it home. Luxury doesn't have to mean excess, and comfort doesn't require compromising the environment.

We're a tight-knit crew of about 30 people, depending on the season. Some of us have been here since we opened, others joined more recently - but everyone's passionate about this place and what we're doing.
From the housekeeping team who notice when you prefer extra pillows, to the guides who know every trail and wildlife den on the property, to the kitchen staff who remember your coffee order - we're all in this together.
Most of us live in Whistler or the surrounding area. We're not just working here; this is our backyard too. That's why we care so much about keeping it pristine for the next generation.
Every choice we make considers environmental impact. We're not perfect, but we're always trying to do better. Solar power, composting, water conservation - it all matters.
We source from local farms, hire from nearby towns, and support regional conservation efforts. When you stay here, you're supporting a whole network of BC businesses and families.
No fake rustic decor or manufactured "wilderness experiences." This is the real deal - actual forest, actual wildlife, and genuine hospitality from people who love what they do.
